RingCentral coverage in the New York 347 area code

Home to a combined population of 8,405,837 as of 2013 estimates, area code 347 and the other telephone codes included in the cluster serve around 946,029 registered companies in the boroughs, which represent 48.3% of the total number of firms in the State of New York (1,956,733).
As the world’s premier financial center, a great part of New York City is devoted to firms with high concentrations in fields such as banking, law, accountancy, media, advertising, arts, and technology. Its trendy neighborhoods are also filled with people who work in the central business district and tourists who want to take a bite of the Big Apple. As such, the high “foot traffic” has become a desirable trait of NYC, leading to an increasing number of business owners setting up shop here.
History
The area code number 347 was introduced in 1999 as an overlay to area codes 718, 917, and later 929. It is part of the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) that primarily serves the New York City boroughs of the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, the Marble Hill section of Manhattan, as well as parts of Cambria Heights and Hicksville.
Previously, all of New York City used area code 212. It was then divided into multiple numbering plan areas to "prevent an impending exhaustion of telephone numbers."
Time zone
The New York area code follows the Eastern Standard Time, which is usually five hours behind UTC/GMT. During daylight savings time, all numbers assigned to this particular area code adhere to Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
Understanding and navigating time zone differences, especially in a vast landscape like the United States, is paramount in managing work schedules, creating a healthy company culture, and making sure effective communication strategies are in place.
